It lingers in hopes that it can haunt my mind.
The petrifying wicked gazing stares met my own as I dared to glance into the mirror.
I'm running out of time. This evil force is going to take control before too long.
It's never easy to see until suddenly it replaces aspirations now with anger and greed.
Is it all about attention, or have I just become that cynical?
The world is collapsing around me and there's no hope that I can see, and it's all about to end.
Am I supposed to filter my own thoughts? My putrid mind and my own filthy desires are destroying all distinction between right and wrong.
Am I really such an evil being? Has my sense of humility now been destroyed?
